    A few personal pics from back when.

    I was the reigning county fair demo derby champ several years running. I went by "Crash Gordon" The two kids (stepsons) in the pic of the '59 are older now than I was then! Couple of my old bikes. The pan was my first Harley, Ended up looking a lot better than it does in this pic but i don;t have a picture after I completely redid it. The Trumpet was built from $100 basket case.

    The re-branded "Peachtree on Peachtree" hotel was originally called the Winecoff Hotel. On December 7, 1946, 199 people died in the Winecoff, in what is still the worst hotel fire in US history. The hotel has been renovated and it re-opened as the Ellis Hotel at the end of 2008.

    here's a local parade from the town where I live. It's 1967 but maybe somebody will recognize the cars.
