I grew up about a mile from this shopping center (northeast Portland Or) and remember this phone. One day with out shopping with my mother I tried to convince to stop and make a call. She wouldn't.
The gentleman taking miss Chandler for a spin in the Triumph side car is a character actor Keenan Wynn Jr. The Triumph was on display in Bud Eakins motorcycle dealership in Sherman Oaks, CA. Bud was Steve McQueen's stunt double and would do most of the dangerous stunts in his movies. While Steve claimed that he always did his own stunts, Bud told me after Steve passed that he did the majority of the stunts. The movie studio's insurance company would not let him do his own. Although he always tried to do as many as he could get away with. Ron
