I am glad you learned something from your vast experience with Joan Collins and Jayne Mansfeld!

  6. Ed Iskenderian, earlier yet, before the special truck heads.
that were Maxi heads, F heads with overhead valves for exhaust?
and that is him in the car.
I do remember it has an Essex frame.
Look back here on the HAMB, there must be hundreds of threads
    about him and the car.
I believe the original builder of the T Go-job was John Athan,
who sold it to Isky and built the Elvis roadster from the movie "Loving You"

Considering the major body restyling of cars such as this never ceases to amaze me recognizing that the work was done with metal and lead before the days of body filler. Piles of lacquer primer as well. But still.
Having done lead work will increase the appreciation of the effort and skill.

  9. On the Nash:
The first picture is the Nash-Healey Lemans.
Second picture is the 2 door Nash Ambassador HT.
I believe it could have a twin carb 6.

[IMG][IMG]Did a search.55 Nash Ambassador Country Club. Dad's was green and white, pretty sharp car, but again I'm a Wisconsin guy, we like them Nash cars. I used to see one at local shows, a black and white that a guy put a Ford 460 in and a few other mild changes, I Never saw any other big Nashs, but several Metropolitans with Buick V6 transplants, Metropolitans cars are surprising with the interior room, much bigger than you would think.

Based on the car owner name I would say it is the VitaFresh Orange Juice car.

It looks like Checker used parts from all different manufactures,it looks like it has Ford upper control arms.

  30. If I’m looking at this photo correctly, and I like to think that I am, there’s a GTO in the photo, right?
