Sounds right out of a Dickens s Wow! It is no wonder we all have such varying opinions and views. When I was 10, I had no idea kids were living in such deprived conditions. Childhood experiences have a huge effect on our adult personalities and you never really realize what other people have gone through in their formative years.
Jim B, yes, I was there, been working since I was 13, forced to quit school halfway through grade ten, I could tell you a story, but, the good thing....it made me who I am. Wouldn't trade that for anything.
