    Love the car/girl/family pictures.
When was the last time someone took a pic of wife/girlfriend, parents, grand parents in front of or on the car??
Keep them coming They all seem to wear hi-heels too.

Back in the Day” – Chicago area racer Bob Muhlke was running and winning in midget competition before his 21st birthday. He started racing at Chicago’s Riverview Stadium in 1937 at the age of 17. He raced in Texas and Florida. In 1938, he dominated the midget racing at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, Wis. Muhlke was a winner at most of the Chicago area tracks, including Riverview, Expo Park in Aurora, Raceway Park, Soldier Field and the five-eighths oval in Hammond, Ind. Retiring from racing, Muhlke operated the Clover Club in Skokie, Ill. Muhlke passed away in Florida in 1973. Photographer Ed Kirchner grabbed this close-up shot of Bob Muhlke at Chicago’s Soldier Field.[IMG]

“Back in the Day” – Milwaukee’s Myron Fohr was good in both midgets and Champ Cars. A midget feature winner at Chicagoland’s Raceway Park, where this photo was taken by Ed Kirchner, Fohr won four Champ Car races during his career and competed in the Indianapolis 500 twice. Fohr passed away in 1994 at the age of 81[IMG]
