Looks like photos of shame...
I like these picture threads and see a lot of unusual stuff, this has to rank near the top of WTF, looks like a 409 engine, maybe fast, but trim board way to small. You get to bake in the sun, smell the engine fumes, feel the engine heat, listen to the engine noise. Maybe a very expensive cover/storage/towing. we had a IO sport boat for years, the fun is being behind a windshield, open, the wind/sometimes a little water spray, water sports and some fishing, enjoying a beautiful day. Guessing this boat had a use/show/race/exercise in engineering idiocy. Anybody know the story ?
It was called the Golden Phantom and was created by George Barris in 1965.
