    FYI, Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" was written by Pete Seeger in 1955 and made popular by The Kingston Trio, Peter,Paul, & Mary and others. The song is in the Grammy Hall of Fame and deserves a better description than "hippy era song" :)

    Picky picky... most here would not know and it was still very popular thru the era of love, Haight-Asbury, flower power, etc.
