I remember the posting well.. I was hoping someone would show it. I often think how good a 57 Ford might have looked and I think a few customs did it... thanks
There's a lot of truth in your comment. Back in the 60's a friend of mine owned a Shell station in Gardnerville, NV, about an hour south of Reno. Every Monday we would go look at the loot people traded for gas to get back to Cali - cameras, rings, shotguns, musical instruments, you name it. He had a pawn business on the side!
I would imagine that she DONATED those bumpers for the scrap drive instead of selling them....
