He’s probably not seen in that photo but Pete Jackson, brother of Kong, was employed at JPL. He left to work at Enderle and later developed his own Jackson injection and his gear drives.
My Grandmother also had a 54 Belair when she lived in Pasadena. After she moved to North Hollywood she traded the 54 in on her last car which was a 56 Belair. The 56 had wood blocks on the pedals so she could reach and a locking gas cap that saved the car for her both times it got stolen. Used to take my wife out in the 56 whenever we would visit.
