The owner of this car let his friend with Downs Syndrome help work on the car and put his name on it. It was a thrill for the friend.

Dan, you're right about the Merc in the 1949 series but the first Batman series was 15 episodes filmed in 1943, with a 1939 Cadillac phaeton as the Batmobile.
