In 1963 I built a 62 Chevy ll custom 100 with a 60 FI with a small hydraulic cam. Jim Vedenoff was Harry Manns go to guy. He worked in his garage on Saturdays and did all mine. The FI unit ended up on many cars after the Chevyll was sold. Jim really liked them on stock 220 hp 283’s where mine went. They would get an ez 24 mpg on my wife’s 65 Chevelle and almost that good on the 53 210 hardtop I installed a 58 283 and 4 speed. The Chevelle had a glide.
