You are not! They were hard to fly because humans had to make all the continuous corrections. Jet engines were better than the recips. The modern computer controls made them airworthy. They were all sliced up.
I posted a nice piece on the last Flying wing. The thread police must have censored it as I am sure it did not fit to the letter vintage shots from days gone by neglecting the fact that it was a reply to the statement they were all sliced up. It was the prototype that had been restored. Unfortunately it crashed on April 22, 2019 and the pilot was killed. There is Youtube footage of it flying in formation of other vintage aircraft.
