I think that looks like mechanic Jack Beckley in the cockpit. Seems like Cal Niday and Hal Robson drove this car at various times.

Found this picture in a book of Henry Ford which looks to be a funeral but don't remember what or when it was.
Pretty sure this photo was taken Edsel Ford's funeral in 1943.

I bet that "car turnstile" for the donut shop wasn't cheap or a quick way to move the cars through the drive up!

Jimmy Reece working on the Zink KK4000 at Indy 1952. Jimmy was a first class wrench, as were Jack Zink and crew chief Bill Jones.....none of them more than 26 years old. They put it in the show and finished seventh. Anybody remember high cuffs on their blue jeans?
