Fred Tomshe leaning on tail of car. My Dad was friends with Fred and in the 50's he would take me with to get Fred's race reports. My family Midget I'm restoring has a quick change Tomshe gear box. Later years 60's, Fred had a used car lot, my older sister bought a 58 Ford from Fred, that's the car I learned to drive in and passed my test at 16, 1964. Fred made a living back in the day as a race car owner. I remember him as a good guy, was nice to me being just a kid
