History Vintage Roof Racks

Or use a trailer. Mullins clone? Old U haul clone? Kids (or Mother-in-law) in a cage trailer?

 

There are some some good ideas here for my wagon when I get around to restoring her. A roof rack will look great on her.

 

I literally found this one in the scrap yard an had it for 25 yrs. Before I modified it to fit a really neat low mileage 52 styline I had... Always had funky shit up top, surf board, new England lobster trap , fly rod etc. Always looked as if I was on Holiday.. Rite down to the plastic Jesus

 

I have thought about putting one on my ‘50. Apparently it was used as a taxi back in the day.

Two crazy Canadians from Edmonton, have driven this car from Edmonton AB, to Hershey, PA, on to florida, then back home via Texas and as far north as Tuktoyaktuk, NWT, as far north as you can drive in Canada since 2008. I love the roof rack they have on it.
