Well if you were going to save only one you picked the right one;)
That’s Mickey Thompson’s Dragmaster Chassis car running inline GM 215 cu. in. aluminum V8’s. From the looks of the cylinder heads the front one is the Olds and the rear was the Buick.

This ‘32 Tudor was at a rod run my old club hosted at an Illinois state park back in 1976.
What was particularly noteworthy about it were the California plates and a San Diego Prowlers club plaque on back.
The guy mentioned to me that he was a Navy man on leave, drove out to Iowa to visit a friend and figured he’d come to our event since he was so close.
Anybody recognize this Prowlers car and have any info on the member?

One owner '50 4 door. Got out of boot camp April '64, rode greyhound home & bought it that night for $120 from the Arctic Circle owner. Split manifold, 2 coils, 8.20 Curbguards, baldies, OZ4 in the radio all in 2 days ... Oh, and I stole the bumpers off my folks' '51 & put the 3 piece on theirs - not enough stainless bolts, so I used all the '50 & '51 guards to bolt them on. Drove to Great Lakes Naval Training center to attend Boilerman "A" school. The bottom pic is the result of getting lost in Indiana, and driving 85 MPH trying to make it back before Cinderella liberty expired. Oct 20, '19 #2 002.JPG Oct 20, '19 #2 004.JPG
