Some awsum set up and great pics. !!!
many years ago when my daughter was about ten
we were in my truck taking a test drive after a long day of wrenching
she turned to me and asked
daddy, did they ever make a car with one carburetor?
I smiled and said no honey, not in my world
we both laughed and laughed
A crappy pic of my Offy 3x2 and 4x2 setups.
And a super crappy pic of a window display I did for a friend of mines boutique, showing my offy 3x2 for B model Chrysler big block, and early Olds Weiand 6x2.
I really like milti carb setup if you couldn't tell.
Ill watch. Thank for the pics.
Can't tell from the pics, are the crossover hoses between the intakes balance pipes or water carriers?
Here's an Allison V-12 (1,710 cu in.) with Four (4) 4-barrels!!
Off topic? Naw!! It is a 1944 engine!!
love this thread
here is one off mine
Here's mine 4+2 offset
Some of mine........
Humm seems to be a recurring theme here............
My 36 roadster with a 59AB.
A tiny bit off topic (but worth it). From march 1968 hot rod magazine, a factory experimental weber'd Pontiac OHC 6... too bad GM had a dumb ban on multiple carbs.
Dunno if this link will work, but here's a link to the full article uploaded by a hamber http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1050416&d=1281125589

and not exactly manifolds but,
multiple carbs do bolt to them;
Weiand on 4-71
and Weiand on 6-71
This is mechanical art to me. Paul, love the Olds stuff, thanks for posting
Here's one of my all time fave's, on the Ramchargers High & Mighty 49 Plymouth
And this ones under the hood of our 61 Polara D-500 383 crossram
Can I play?
Vintage sheet metal manifolds for an olds. One off, as are the heads that they bolt to.
Sorry no pics since I cleaned them up.
Are those plenums between the carbs tied together? From the pic it looks like two separate intakes. Looks cool, would love to know how it works!
my small offering, the 283 in my 37 chevy coupe.
Not tied together two separate plenums one feeds the front 4 one feeds the rear. Nothing high tech about them at all, just two big holes to hold fuel mix while the engine decided what it wanted to do with it. This engine was built to be set on kill and the throttle was either all the way on or all the way off.
The crusty 94s that will eventually top my Edelbrock intake.
I ran this for a little while in an alteres wheelbase Chevy II. It never did run as good as it looked.
JULY 19-20 2014
Got mine running finally fired right up purrs like a kitten. Stab the throttle its a lion.
The pic outside is with the throttle linkage modified returns to idle better now
