In-Dash Hand Fuel Pressure Pump. The pump is styled on the Kurtis Indy car pumps of the early 1950s, which you don't see too often. These pumps were commonly used on early race cars and dragsters to pressurize the fuel system to get gas to the carbs. You used to see a lot of Hot Rodders in the 1950's and 60's mount them in there dashes. The pump is hand crafted by me on a 1932 South Bend Lathe using USA aluminum. It comes in machined finish or could be polished up if you desire. I left it as is, because some people like the patina/aged look. The pump comes with a brass check valve and works great. Even if it is nonfunctional for your car, it would still add a great look and be a great conversation piece. The Kurtis pumps don't come up for sale any more, so dont miss out on this great vintage style part, because you might not see an original any time soon. SHIPPING IS FREE in the lower 48 states.
