Billy Shuman and his West Coast Vintage Racers, SouthWest Chapter invite all vintage racers and fans to our two day event at the scenic Havasu 95 Speedway paved quarter mile in the Colorado River Valley Resort Area of Lake Havasu City, AZ. Official Racers Lodging at - Quality Inn (just a few miles N of the track on 95) 928 855 1111 Just a few miles from the London Bridge, Resorts and Casinos there is lots to do in addition to vintage oval racing. Plenty of track time on both days with special events and exhibition races for the fans on Sat Night and an after race party for all attendees. Vintage Midgets, Sprints and Indycars will have their seperate track times for practice and exhibitions. Ray Alcaraz is coordinating the Indycar portion of the event with Billy Shuman handling the sprints and midgets. Bring $10 donation for Track Promoter Bill Rozhon's 'Toys For Tots' campaign- it means a bicycle for needy children! A great time is to be expected both on and off the track. If you like grass roots oval racing close to first class resorts and attractions with a cast of characters and cars you won't forget- this event is for you! I usually tow in on Thursday PM and get settled in at the motel by dark. In the morning it's a 15 minute trip to the track, unload, get set up and I'm on the track about noon. Vintage Midgets, Sprintcars and Champ/Indycars took to the track for two days in the beautiful Colorado River Valley Town of Lake Havasu City, AZ. and we helped raze enough cash to purchase about 120 bicycles for needy kids in the area.
