I have a '65 FORD F100, and the vin number on the door only has 11 numbers, so I was wondering if I would be able to use that because I can't find one any where else on the truck.

Sounds like the correct number of digits to me....same as Chevy trucks from that era...

In those years 11 was the standard number of digits. When trying to find an old title at motor vehicle here in N.D. I some times have to use two zero,s in front of the 11 digits. Mike.
