Vin/serial number decoding oldsmobile

    Tag says serial number C 2332i. Engine number F 257392X

    I don't know for sure if it's a 1930 or 31. Or what model it is. Any help would be great. Google didn't help me.

    I found this at AACA.org

    "Engine numbers started at F200001 in '30 and ended at F252106" Looks like mine would be after that.

    Serial (actually engine number) on this one is F268254.

    I think your last digit in the car serial number is a 1, not an I.

    A Standard Catalog of American Cars (Krause) would have the info in it, or the Standard Catalog of Oldsmobile, but the latter is out of print and rather overpriced IMHO when it turns up on eBay.
