Vin location on 56 ford fi00

Need to locate vin number on frame my frame has a nova front clip numbers were cut off are there any numbers vin at the rear of the frame ....hope someone has info so i can register this truck

 

Usually it's on the passenger side of the frame, in front of the cab toward crossmember. In your case, it's probably gone since you have a clip. Did it have a tag in the glove box? Do you have a title for it? Mike

 

I believe its on top of the drivers side frame rail just behind the cab.

 

Never ever found the VIN on my '55 frame - all I ever found was a brass 'tag' with a chassis number screwed to the inside of the glove-box.

That's where my 55F100 was.

 

It should be on the drivers side, inside front door jam. It's a plate with Vin# trans & gear ratio. Send me an email and I'll pop a pic. Good luck
