I was thinking the exact same thing, he started collecting Deuces as a kid. HRP
I met Gene and toured his buildings 2 years ago. I was speechless, to say the least.
I told him I had 2 deuces.... he then told me he had also had 2 once.....

Heaven does exist on this earth ! When he started they were cars , and the damn parts did not fit on an A model
You think he would be interested in adopting me, I'm house broke.
Your funny John, I think you as old as Gene. HRP
Found some photo's of Gene's roadster that was entered in Americas most beautiful roadster in 2015,. HRP
Very Entertaining And Appreciated HRP From A Fellow Deuce Fan...
Talk about clean! HRP
That roadster is amazing, how did it do in the AMBR show?
What a fantastic collection, with all those cars there are only 4 whitewalls to clean, time well spent. Bob
Awesome collection . I would be like a kid in a candystore not knowing which one I would cruise with first .
Anyone know why he decided to sell if off now?
I hope he is in good health and found something else to pursue with the same passion. Bob
I was lucky enough to purchase his 32 Roadster at Mecum that wasn't completely finished. If you still have Gene's email, I would love to get more info on the car or see if he has more parts. thanks
Just rewatched the video. Produced by Mecum and are supposed to know about cars but I believe the roadster in th Ed rag racing segment was with a model T ('26/27) or an A, though I didn't stop and check positively. So does a '32 grille shell makes any car a '32? LOL
Magnificent collection. I like that he had diverse taste, hot rods & resto's.
Rather limited diversity...
Yeah, point taken. Probably a bad choice of words on my part.
so can we expect a build thread...........?
