  9. This is a bit out of the HAMB era, but it's got enough "1965" that I think it fits. Yet-another-crappy-cell-phone pic from an old HR magazine (hey, I had my bedroom wallpapered with these back when I was 13 or so) of Don Thelen's (yes, THAT Don Thelen) Vicky. 444" Lincoln with six Rochesters and a four-gear.

Well I've started on mine. I built it a new frame and sat it on there. Actually the body is really solid, just rusty along the bottom. As I have to remove the floor to repair I'm going to channel it 2 inches to bring the lower edge of the bustle down on to the top of the rails.
Yesterday I started stripping the drivers door. Apart from needing corner patches even the door skin is good!
Going to practice gas welding for this one.
Also found out mine must be a very early body as it has the early floor pan with the exhaust recess on the right side only.
Anyone know how many '32 Vickys left on the planet?

I have actually heard a lot of guys say Vickys are really ugly. For some reason I have always liked them. :D

And how many of them actually own a genuine 1932 Ford? Ford didn't make any ugly cars in '32.

  23. Well you do need to consider the source on a lot of those opinions.

Now, what's up with that rear door ?
Anymore info and pics on that?

Ya know Titus, your post just triggered a memory from about forty years ago... I had just built an AMT '32 Vicky kit, the old version that had the gasser parts. I was about ten, and showed my dad. He said, "That looks like ____ old car from here in town, I bet he still has it". Next thing I know we were driving around South Saint Paul looking for a house, which we found, and that car was in the garage looking just like the
painted and lettered pictures! Funny how stuff like that triggers....

I wonder how good a 35/36 vicky would look.

  27. Hmm...I'm working on it.

  28. Don't know about 35,36 but...

    Here's a 33,4 crossbred with a 31.
    Copy machine, knife, tape, tequila
    Have at it

  29. Everybody had their favorite kind of butt,,,but that Vicky don't have a nice butt.
Nice photo chop skills though. I can't do that shit lol I need tape and scissors.

Try to Stretch it in the doors and move the b pillars back, leave the 1/4 windows the same size and sculpt her a round butt. Throw some coupe at it.
