Mel, that photo is so unbelievable, it looks photoshopped! There are so many cool cars in one place. But I was there, so I know it is real.

Many of these pics would make a great painting.

I can't get over how spot on this event looks! What a spectacular grouping of cars! I may have missed it but any plans to make this an annual event???

Yep never believed I would be nailing a timing tag to my dashboard , I don't even care what the speed was (which is handy !) it's a reminder that for a moment there we were the luckiest people on the planet .

So. The VHRA Amateur Hot Rod Races at Pendine Sands nominated for the 2013 International Historic Motoring Awards. Nine nominees in the 'Motoring Event of the Year' including Pebble Beach and Goodwood? And the winner is.....

A bunch of hot rodding misfits on a beach.

Just. Bloody. Awesome.

 

Fantastic news isn't it Phil!!!! Well done to Neil & everyone involved with the VHRA, it truly was an EPIC event.

Bit of a late update but…

So what was this fool doing pretending his old box brownie worked....




Seems it did! Apologies for the delay but the film has been out travelling around Norfolk getting developed. I'm going to have a go at rescanning the negs as the camera shop managed to scan some aberrations in the glass. But until then here's a few that came out.
