History Very early Hot Rod ?

Looks like to me that the hood/grill are a different color then cab. Definitely a stripped down/hopped up roadster. Solid wheels? Look at all the kids on bicycles checking it out.

Looks to me like it has the front spring in front of and above the crossmember, maybe with a bracket?. Can't tell for sure, but are the front wishbones split?

 

maybe the earthquake shock the fenders off

 

Definite Gow job, the kids know!

 

Looks like a good bit of early aftermarket parts- might be a combination of:

• Mercury body (the windshield has a Mercury look to it)
• Michelin wheels
• Laurel front end

 

If its not a hot rod\gow job it sure missed a good chance!
