spent a few hours combing through the parts For Sale. some have called it a bunch of junk. but, there is plenty left that still have potential. if you find that one part that you really need it is worth the journey to Santa Rosa. Vern decided to continue the Sale Next Saturday, Nov 23. heard discussions about Vern truly retiring and closing shop in 2-3 years. also, Keith may be taking a job at another top notch shop. do not have details but, likely others here can fill in the blanks. great weather - enjoy the pics. if you like to gamble a new big Casino just opened down 101.
he has plenty of stuff in and around his shop for his purposes, and for current customers. the big stock pile of other parts collected over the years will be sold as scrap if he can not find someone to buy it all and save it for others to use.
Yep, was there yesterday from opening at 9:00 am to closing at 3:00 pm. Vern's a down to earth kind of guy with a knack for story telling who has one cool place to spend an afternoon. I was able to score some needed parts for my truck as well as a few pieces for wall art/future projects at very reasonable prices.Even after six hours there I was noticing things that I hadn't seen each additional time I walked the yard. There's so much to see it just isn't possible to take it all in what with the bins, racks and various vehicle carcasses filled with parts. I may go back next weekend as well.
I have only met Vern thru phone calls. Always willing to help even if there wasn't money exchanged. Standup guy for sure. Would love to be able to make it out to his shop Thanks for the pictures.

I would like to get my hands on that bomb in front of the shop to put in the bed of my GMC. Can someone ask him what he wants for it or get me in touch with Vern?
