Does anyone know what year or style hood was used on the Highboy roadster?

What is the mystery? Looks like stock top halves to me.

My question is; is the hood a 32` or 30` hood halves? This is the blue highboy roadster on the cover of the "How to build a Highboy Roadster"

His book "How to Build a Traditional Hot Rod" has a blue 29 roadster on it, and that car has a custom one-piece hood top. Nothing stock Ford about it.

'32 hood tops end at the bead's edge... the '30-'31 hood tops end about 2" below the beads...
