History Ventura County Timing Association

I found a jacket with, “Ventura County Timing Association” on the back of it. I know the SCTA but never heard of VCTA. Can anyone give me some info on them?

The Ventura Timing Association was in Ventura California. I think Charlie Gartman was the President. They took all us kids to Lions Drag Strip a couple of times. They were a hot rod car club back in the 60s and 70s. They used to pride themselves on helping people who broke down and would leave a card that said "You have been assisted by a member of the Ventura County Timing Association" Do you still have the jacket?
