US Injectors match case

  1. Found this in a box of stuff today.
    Anyone know anything about this manufacturer or an approximate date on this piece?

    I found it in a box of stuff from my grand dads house.. pretty neat. Made of aluminum and it really good shape.
    Any idea what year this might be from?

    Winner winner chicken dinner , Boiler Injectors is the answer ,I have operated many of them in my past as an Operating Stationary Engineer . Not know what you are doing and you’ll leave a poop ring in the shorts . I’m guessing , 30s on the era . If you ever want to part with it , keep me in mind , please .

    I operated a lot of them also, most were penberthy I think brand. We used locomotive boilers on drilling rigs up until about 10 years ago but we put electric feed pumps on them by the late 70,s I suppose the old tractor guys still use injectors or steam powered feed pumps
