In 1967 I was one of the featured match race cars at US 30....I never will forget the Radio Ads....it said "SUNDAY....SUNDAY...AT US 30 DRAG STRIP...GOLDFINGER ALTERED WHEEL BASE FUNNY CAR LAYING DOWN 9 SECOND RUNS PITTED AGAINST ARNIE "THE FARMER" BESWICK'S GROCERY GETTER PONTIAC STATION WAGON FUEL INJECTED 421....SUNDAY, SUNDAY AT US 30...."

 

I got older in Lansing (I still haven't grown up) not to far from the king speed shop. There was a story about town how they sued Pontiac over the name judge. I always thought it was a GTO..
