    Looking for a shop in the Chicagoland area.

    Re-doing a 1961 Olds Dynamic 88.

    Stock seats ..need updating.

    Why would you title this as looking for a shop in "SoCal" if you want one in Chicago?

    Its a little further drive, (1 hour north of the city just over the border of IL / WI), but well worth it. This guy has done dynamite work for my Dad and several others over the years. Did his '62 Olds Dynamic 88 seats, and '56 Bel Air interior from top to bottom, plus a lot of other daily driver stuff over the years. Reasonable, too.

    OldCarMike not only is a HAMB member, but does outstanding work at a reasonable price. He's in Aurora.

    Here's a bad pic of the seats he did for my Econoline. That's tuck & roll metalflake vinyl AND piping (which isn't easy). He completely repadded the seats and painted the frames on all 4 bucket seats in the van. Incredible work. There's a better pic in this thread about Chicago upholsterers, and it includes Mike's contact info
