    I mocked up the truck with the running boards once but did not care for the look. I think it looks better without them.

    I still have the beater flatbed.
    Motor is getting changed up again with swap meet parts....world sportsman II heads and a summit 1105 cam .465/.488 lift 224/234 duration, and a 2500 stall.
    It won't be a racecar, but I think it should run pretty good.

  7. Those are great heads. I have run them on a couple healthy small blocks and they worked well.

    What is the flatbed structure from originally?

    This truck was originally a 3/4 ton flatbed. I shortened it about 10 inches to match the new frame (wheelbase was same, just less frame behind the axle)...and raised it to clear the rear tires.

  14. No, they look like late model front wheel drive wheels. Even if you found something that looked "like" what you want from a distance, it would not look right up close. Those don't look right even from 50 ft.

    I'm ready for test and tune. It sure launches harder with a 28.5" tall drag radial.
