Here was the first post that I did on this truck that my dad and I are working on for him. It is a 1959 Chevy Truck with a fleet side bed, it is powered by a 472 Cadillac motor with a Cadillac Overdrive Tranny and rearend. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=255870&highlight=1959+chevy+truck Now, here she is with the Fleetside bed, Lowered with Polished Americans and whites! Now we have to figure out the rear bumper, finnish the frame notching, work with the steering arm a bit, then body work starts and soon after we will be painting it! Any questions just ask. Thanks
You, and your Dad did an awesome job. The truck looks really good. Did you lower it the way you mentioned, or did you go with air ride? What ever way you used it looks good.
Dropped Axel front, dearched leafs all the way around and new spring purchase on the rearend to place it ontop of the leafs instead of underneath!
Hell yah, that truck looks great. The wheel and tire choice is right on! What color are you going with?
It will be the color of the Grille and head light rings hopefully, but I need to see what it would look like before we make that deciscion!
I will post some pictures of it when we got it some time tommorow, it was about 30 different colors and rusty as all hell. I forgot to add that part!
Thanks for the compliments! looking at it in person and on the computer, it looks alot lower in person!
