    What a very sad story!
I'm sorry the owner of all that junk put you through that! :)

    Seriously, we are all green!

    Plans?
Want to send one of those coupes my way?

That's a once in a lifetime deal except most of us are still waiting for ours. So what kind of a finder's fee are you giving your buddy-a Big Mac and an order of fries? :D

Waaaay cool!! I had one similiar a few years ago, but wasn't able to strike a deal with the owner. 1 barn, 30+ cars, tons of parts, but wouldn't take less than mid 6 figures..... Most were in average shape needing restoration, the old coupes were complete, and 2 or 3 were amateur restored. I really wish I could have scored like you, but then where the heck would I put all of them?!?!? lol

Tim was in the lead and Don was behind him both pulling cars I was trailing behind with the truck and trailer full of hoods. Don said he would cringe every time he saw dust flying off of the first car. I thought the same thing every time dirt and dust flew off of the one he was hauling. We were very careful to leave all the dirt on them throughout the process. So to answer your question we are not going to wash them. Plenty of raccoon poo free of charge.

Wow. I am in dire need of a mint `40 Coupe Decklid, but unless a Hamb relay occurs, I may be too far away to get one shipped. If there is a spare, that is. Is there? Sigh.........

I never have cared much for 40's but that is a nice find. Naw, I'm lying. Been a 40 addict for almost 60 years. What a great find, good to hear you plan to share.

A great score,, I'm so jealous, we aussies can only dream of finding stuff like this, as we didn't get too many 39/40 Fords produced here.

  27. I was doing cart wheels and pinching my self when I found my 39 standard in a shed last year. It had been there since the late 70's. I can imagine what it was like to have the door open and see three 40's and a 39 in there! id have filled my pants! here mine after getting washed, yes I washed it! Id be interested in a Pass rear fender. 20150529_162351.jpg
