Difference is that flat black can be done by anyone and its hard to muck up. Lace tops can look like shit done by an inexperienced person. So I welcome they change. Alex, it looks amazing. Cant wait to see it in person.

were starting a new reality show called "flat black is dead" we go around from show to show and steal a flack black car and paint it in stead of the a team we have the b team and instead of a week we got 48 hrs... this shows gona rule

 

A dickhead who came by my house last year and tried to give me a sob story about wanting to find a '60 Starliner for his wife for their anniversary. It turns out he has like 6 of them already. He played it like he didn't know anything about them.

 

I'M liking this idea!!...just don't spray my roof over lacy thongs and garter belts.

I totally tried to help the guy with finding a car too because of his sob story until I found out the truth. Asshole!

 

Nope, different guy, but that sucks. These types of guys are all through the car scene though. I'll keep my eye out for this shitbag so as not to deal with him.

BTW, this is the most beautifullest car I've seen in a long time. I'd knock out a wall in the house for this car and call it fine furniture if it were mine, god DAMMIT! It is sweet.

Damn the paint looks killer, the lace looks alot better wrapping instead of blocking at the seams. What kind of wheels/tires are you gonna run? maybe some 13" starwires

I know all about the lace hunt. i went on it a few months ago for my 63. mine did not turn out half as nice as yours but mines spray bombs and the only lace i could find. Your car fucking rules by the way

You could detail the scallops to look like garter clips and bra straps...

that looks killer! bet something like that would look right on my 60' ventura 4dr.hdt. i used to see all kinds of those paint jobs at the car shows growing up. kinda felt sorry for my buddys older brother when they were painting a old bonneville and attempted to do some lace painting and dug up what they thought was a "old tablecloth" and it turned out to be his moms. what got him stitches was the comment " it was from your third marrage remember?,the asshole!" never seen a bumper jack mess up a roof like that.
