Progress continues on The Legion Special and we have a first deadline to make. It will be on display in the Seret Speed & Custom booth at the Goodguys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton in a few weeks. We plan to have all of the metal work done and the whole car in bare metal by then. So what have we done lately? Well, Matt has ruled it on the belly pan. It's a two-piece design that is about half way through being heavily louvered - about 250 punched slots! The license plate mount is done. The third piece of the dash is etched and cut out. The shock arms are adjusted and ready to go on. The trans tunnel is done. The floor just needs a heel blister and then it's ready for staining and sealing. The nose has been extended to curve all the way under and meet the belly pan. And more! Anyway, here are some photos! Kirk weld good.
