I would like to do a bolt it cage. The chassis as of now is going on hold so I can build the buck for the body ontop of the frame.

Great pics, Thanks! I looked allot at Kurtis chassis.

I once read in Street Rodder magazine about comparision between 2, 1932 Fords, one with IFS and one with an axle, I belive they were vey close on performance. does anyone have that issue?

Just noticed on that link, Bud Kennedys car is alive and well in the NW. Is the owner on HAMB by chance?

Looks like a fun project! But just a suggestion, could you weld your diagonal tubing into both the horizontal and the vertical tubes, and not just one? It will really tie the structure together and make a much stronger chassis.

So what gauge aluminum are you going to be using for the skin? I've always wanted to make a body like that, I'll just have to live through yours for now.

  25. This is gonna be neat! The D type is some great inspiration.
As an aside, what's the scoop on the Chevy in the background?

Really looking forward to this one.
Have you looked at the Aston Martin DB3S that has creases in the wings (fenders) like in some of your drawings? It is also a very beautiful car.
