I've never seen another set of these, are they rare or have I just not seen them?
i think they are for a lincoln 368
Someone is casting them again, I've see a few sets on eBay for sale. Still super cool!
super rare late 50's (?) i believe, lincoln as stated, i've seen them put on a SBC in an early 60's popular hot rodding.
Yeah '56-57 Lincoln. I have a set. I have heard around $200. I'm keeping mine unless somebody wants them a lot more than that
What's a valve cover?
You flatty dudes call them a cylinder head.
That's a good one...
$200? There worth a boat load more than that.
Over-head valves are just a fad anyway................
Yup, once Mr. Wankel's engine takes off, valves will be a thing of the past!
As far as I know, those valve covers only came on the 1956-57 Continental MkIIs. Only 3000 were made during those years and about half of those cars still survive today.
There are also some L-M with 45* fins across the covers, no emblems though.
enginebloch is correct..1956-57 Continental MKIIs only..I think there were less than 3000 made though....
