Okay everybody, sorry about not updating the thread and keeping everybody in suspense. I can assure you this isn't fake.
A few days after i posted the pictures the owner's daughter called around to see if anyone would give her father more money for the car than I did. That night the owner gave me a call and told me he received an offer 10k over what I had offered and put a deposit down on. I asked him what he was going to do and he informed me that he would rather have a young rodder build it up locally and see the car around rather than get more money for the car and never see it again. Right then I went over, paid in full for the car, and got it signed over to me.
Now, the owner has been dealing with a water main break at one of his houses so he has been unable to meet me to remove the car from his property. I figure I've waited a year another week won't hurt any. Saturday at 9AM is when I will be picking up the car so expect pictures sometime this weekend.
As for the history of the car the owner told me he bought the car when he was 18(about 60 years ago), drove the car for a few years then parked it. He can't remember what kind of an engine was in it but I'm sure I'll be able to find out. He lived in the culver city area during this time and his father owned a junk yard. He did remember his girlfriend's(now his wife) father wouldn't let her ride around in the car unless he kept the 'suicide doors' tied up with a piece of rope so they wouldn't fly open. He said he had pictures of the car but he would need to find them.
The 32 is missing the engine, hood, headlights and grill at this time. The owner says he'll be able to find the grill so I'm going to trust him. I forgot to mention that while I was there purchasing the 32 my father purchased a 1951 chevy panel truck. 51 chevy: front end is all there and perfect the picture was just taken at a bad angle. No cancer in the body at all. I will be sure to update this as soon as I can.

Wow...you gotta hand it to a guy that can turn down an extra 10K (just as a main water breaks no less). You are a lucky dude...most of the time it's match the offer or walk.
Hood, headlights and a grill are the easy stuff!! If you've got a windshield, garnishes, dash and glovebox you've pretty much got all the difficult parts to find. Good luck man...they're killer cars and that will be a show stopper just as it sits. ...and for gawds sake leave the fenders on! JohnnyA

I found the car in fallbrook. Less than 10 miles from my house. I drove past it every day on my way to highschool but it wasn't visible from the road.

Only 3 more to go and we've accounted for every '32 3w that Henry ever produced.

    JUST KIDDING!!!!!

Congrats on the score of a lifetime! Mr. Machado , obviously likes you and felt you were the next caretaker, make him Proud that he made the right choice, theres at least 10,000 reasons to remember what he did for you. Look forward to your build.

Great, Im glad to see you finally got it and also glad to see you look like a young guy.
Congrats! and I hope you keep it but I bet you will get plenty of offers to buy it down the road now that you have it home, If you do ever decide to sell and get big bucks I hope you take the old guy some of the profit being that he was offered the 10k more but let you have it instead.

Yeah I'm 19. I will NEVER sell this car. It has been my dream car since I was very young. If I ever did sell it I would definitely pay it forward to the previous owner.
