Surprisingly, I haven't had any offers. It's probably due to the picture quality. I don't have any plans to sell the car.

WOW! Congrats and good for you. I'd take the day off work and get it today!
Be sure to take notes from the owner on it's history along with any old photos, etc he has of the car. Does an engine, parts come with it?
What part of town did you uncover it here?

Did you go get it today?
I bet if your heading said "Unearthed, 3 window 32 ford" you would of had more inquiries.

I want to know what else you included in your text. Something like "...if you don't sell the coupe , I'm going to marry your granddaughter, save us both a bunch of time and money and sell me your coupe......"

    Congrats

Your persistance paid off. It took my brother almost 2 years to get his three window. Way to go, cant wait to see more pictures.

I wasn't able to get it today. The previous owner had an emergency so hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday. The anticipation is unbearable.

This is the stuff dreams are made of.. Great patina. '40 Wheels. Fenders. And it looks like there's either an automatic transmission in there or is that an adapter for the early Ford transmission to an OHV engine I'm seeing?

    Details, man.. Details..

  15. GREAT FIND AND I KNOW JUST HOW YOU FEEL AS I SCORED MY 3 WINDOW LAST FEB. GOOD LUCK AND LETS SEE SOME MORE PHOTOS PLEASE.
DID IT COME WITH A ORIGINAL SEAT? I sure could use some measurements and a pattern of the side tins.

If the 3 window was sitting outside under a tarp, what is in the shed out of the weather?

Great score i would have loved to have been you removing the tarp thinking it could have been an A but was actually the real deal ......

  30. Your best bet is do not post about a desirable car until the car is actually in your driveway.
