I saw the under-seat speakers in the Brothers catalog. Anyone use these? Are they worth a flip or will I have to get my ears surgically moved to my ass?

    Thanx for any help

I haven't used those in particular but have used subs installed under the seat successfully, since low freqs are omnidirectional.

I don't understand why they would put the tweeters on them though, high freqs are directional making the tweets seems like a waste of juice under there.
Id yank em and put them up where you could hear them.

Might want to be careful putting high power subs under yer seat. Lots of booming low frequency at high volume after a jumbo burrito could be an issue.

  4. I have heard that 33Hz is particularly popular with the ladies.

Subwoofers maybe, but mids / tweeters, no way. Your ears aren't in your ass, so its not going to sound right. Low frequencies are not directional, but high frequencies are, so if they arent a relatively straight shot from your ears, its never going to be right
