Looking for some free advice about 'un-lowering' a flipped axle by lengthening the shackles... I need to raise it about 2".

I have a '60 F-100 with a 4" Sid's drop axle and a flipped rear axle. I wanted it to sit level, it's now low in the rear. My fault...

The perches are welded and I already bought tires, so my thought is longer shackles. But how? The rear shackle points up towards the bed, not down. Can I make a longer shackle for the front bracket, or does it matter? Can I lengthen the rear shackle going up?

Any help is appreciated. Math was never my strong suit.

I flipped the rear in my c-10 but used an “ add-a-leaf kit” , to minimize the lowering..common with the 4x4 crowd, good for about 1.5-2” lift , will add your payload capacity slightly ... about $ 60

get your rear springs arched if you only need an inch or 2..... Cheapest and safest way to do this without re inventing the wheel.

Thanks for the help. I didn't even think about the springs. Problem solved.
