Here's what we got up to this weekend! I would like to say a big big thank you to Phil for organising this and for everyone making it a fantastic weekend. So we done the 7 hour drive on Friday to get there, got the tent up and then hit bar to relax before the run the next day. Here's a few that were there already So up bright and early on Saturday to full English Breakfast, given map to where we were heading (still looked like hyroglifics to me), and off we go! Then we were off on our first part of the Journey First stop Fuel!!! Then a little blat down the dual carriage way!
So first stop was Steam Fair (we were main attraction) So after filling up with food a letting the public have a look round our cars we were off again!! Down a little steep hill Now we have to wait for the ferry to take us across (and it only took 2 or 3 at a time and there was over 30 cars) Then a few more roads and we were back at camp. So we thought right barbeque then bar to relax after a full day!!!!
But No Phil had another surprise up his sleeve for us. He had managed to get us use of the local air strip so we could have a little fun Have to say Clark was fantastic, managed to get his model a roadster up on 3 wheels whilst going round the cone!!! Then we left and i wish i had my camera then as we all left the runway 30 cars as i looked back it was an amazing sight. So after our 6 hour drive home in the pouring rain i have the most amazing memorys of yet another weekend away!!! Daisduke

Now that is a fantastic video, i'm so glad someone captured the moment cause it won't happen again. That gave me goosebumps.
Looks a blast - wish I could've been there - maybe next year! Good to see several familiar faces too! Seems plenty of "new" cars I don't remember also - that's a good thing!
Of course it won't... never again. My efforts to record the day: Enbloc made it for the first time ever! and - me!!! Artiki - before and after...
Dammit, I forgot you took that! Hell, I look as rough as I felt. Awesome day, that was. Another never to be forgotten. And as Becky just said, that airfield video has just sent a shiver up my spine too. Only downer was my trans causing some grief on the way home, but nothing serious enough to spoil the weekend. Phil is my hero! (My photos on way, btw.)
Hang on! When did I acquire that name? Remember folks, he started it. Glad you're all enjoying the vid, it was such a moment! Thanks to Phil for organising, and thanks for Terry for inviting me. Graham.
Yeah...thanks for showing it again, Dave. Man, I hurt in that pic. Here are a few that I took. Going to bed now... Enbloc on a slippery slope....
