Bob Mosher in Monrovia CA is recreating Captain Culpepper's 1962 Dodge Dart police special (from the movie "It's a Mad Mad Mad
Mad World") for me and it should fit in here…

That '62 Dodge cop car is so awesome in a weird way. Now you'll have to build a copy of the red '62 convertible Sylvester drove to go with it. IMMMMW is the greatest car movie of all time.

I haven't seen many ugly cars in this thread. But I've seen some shitty paint Jobs and som weird. But non there are plain ugly!

All though that White Dodge that became black, was ugly! ;-)
The MGB US model all look like shit, but ended up so cool. But all post 1970 cars goes from ugly to fugly Real fast!

And that jeepster is not that ugly, but both paint jobs let's the car down!

There is a Volvo 544 gasser that makes my pants fit funny. And there was a well build drag car (barn find) for sale on here, not bad at all.

The econoline wasn't exactly eye candy from the factory..... nor was it ever intended to be.

I like the before picture better, but then again, I am not a fan of convertibles, and something about the after just doesn't look as cool, but that is just my opinion, I wish I owned either one.

I've seen this car in person and I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

A before and after of the chop. Mopars did not have the best roof lines in my opinion and the cars look silly. But they all have potential

A couple of thoughts come to mind, #1 "One man's Junk is another man's Jewel." #2 "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder" And some cars are so "Butt Ugly" that no matter what the mods are, They are still "Fugly" Just my opinion, that and $1.50 will get you a cup of coffee. One last thought this PM, I respect all fellow car hobbyists/enthusiasts and keep my opinion to myself on their rides, it's their deal and if they're happy, I'm happy for them, refer to thoughts 1&2.
