Holy crap! Just when you think this thread is gonna fizzle out and we've seen everything... that IROC windowed beauty is a peach! Even the dog on the back is pissed off... Geez, the midwest is making the East Coast guys look good. Who knew?

 

I think this wagon would look pretty good without the big-ass rear fender...I'd drive it.

I agree. Compared to those other messes, this one is a pretty clean and traditional late '50s/early '60s kustom. Not my style, but I'd drive it! (And changing the fenders would be so easy!)
I've seen a couple of those others in old magazines, so some toes are being stepped on, but ugly is ugly.

i saw this one in person and the guy was drooling over my buddies very mild 55 olds

 

Man these pictures are really disturbing. The bad part about it is that all the owners think they are cool. Can you fathom how much money and man hours were spent on these wierdos. There are a lot more out there to. Makes you wonder about the sanity of some people! You know the old saying in the car business "there is an ass for every seat" How true!

 

I remember seeing THIS car for the first time at the Milwaukee Rod-O-Rama in 1961 or '62!!! It was Pearl White with what looked like a Black Bear Interior and we thought it was awesome at the time...Now in California I believe...I'd love to hear the history of this car!....Sandpiper

 

Yeah...I can agree on the 40...The only thing that threw me off was the way the headlights abruptly fade off to a point into the fender. In the picture you can see exactly what I mean on the passenger side...there's no flow. But the fenders could easily be switched and I would drive the hell out of it.

Hubnut, yeah I've been to a couple KKOA shows, and thats where some of these were shot. I can't take the credit though, I just found them. I found them on carnut.com, that place is FULL of ugly shit, along with some very nice rides as well.

 

I was going through my lil Mags and found this prime example of Ugly. I was glad
that the whole article wasn't in color.
