Has anyone used the yellow tygon for fuel line? Have heard it is superior to what's currently available.

Yellow Tygon is what I use on my Gokarts sold as fuel line.

I use Tygon for many small engines and motorcycles. All of these applications are gravity feed so I cannot tell you the line will not expand if using a fuel pump and pressurizing the line. Tygon does not have any type of braiding to control expansion so I will be leery of using it under the hood of a vehicle.

To me it would look just as silly on a hot rod as that clear red crap that gets discolored, brittle and cracks and has been the cause of a lot of car fires. At least it was back in the 60's in this area.
I just bought something similar for my chain saw though.

Blue urethane used to be popular for snowmobiles and dirt bikes. After 40 years in the box it is now brittle as hell.

No way I would use that under hood. Hand held stuff, etc, as designed for, sure.

What's the benefit of using this stuff?

I typically use nickel copper tubing because of how bendable it is and how well it flares. I know the knock on that is that it's usually a bit more expensive, but I just looked on Amazon, and the NiCu is about 30% less per foot than this stuff.
