Wow!Wow!Wow! We had a great time here at Pebble Beach. First class, drop dead gorgeous day. We were one of eight. The most amazing fans of Hot Rods ever. I’ll post the pics of our class Hot Rods.

 

These are the other seven! They were so awesome. The Kookie Car was well deserving for his win. The Cool Roadster, 1978 AMBER winner, what a monster of it’s power house motor. Tommy Ivo’s Roadster was another great contender. Classic in every way. Eddie Dye’s Roadster was great to next to. Beautiful and so streamlined with a paint job that I voted number one in our class. Bruce Meyer’s was another flawless competitor. Taking home a winning trophy also. RESURRECTION TWEETY

Thanks so much for sharing - seeing Tweety among those truly historical hot rods IN CURRENT photos was awesome to say the least! Most of us only saw them in magazines as we grew up! It must have been the same feelings for you Jim!

Kinda neat journey from when Tweety's story was first posted here four or so years ago.

 

Pecan Brewing co. & Joe and Amanda Martin put on a great car show today in Johnson City, Texas. Hopping with cool cars and cool people.

 

Looks like a good show. I think I saw that 32 roadster with wire wheels cruising around Drip on Saturday night.

Here we are where the wheel really started moving for Tweety two years ago. Hill Country Rally for Kids Car Show. First was the British Invasion. Triumph car clubs of America met in Dripping Springs as a finally to a week long event through the Texas Hill Country.

 

Just a few more pics of that day. They raffled off that 1969 SS Camaro and brought in over $90,000.00 dollars for our local charities.

 

I took my boys to that show on Saturday. Good turnout this year.

 

Great pics, I miss the Hill Country. Tweety looks downright angry is those head-on pics! Glad I have been able to see it the second time around.

Personally I haven't helped the cause much being virtually Digital I still am saddened how things are unfolding but one can always hope some will persevere...thanks for sharing your second wave of Tweety @Tweety's Resurrection...

I must say this Hotrod was in the Limelight Bigtime...loving the vintage pics and living the second wave with you and your travels...

The 2nd annual Hot Rod Showdown was the place to be this past Saturday. The old west town was perfect for all these pre 1948 cars! Two other historic rods were placed next to Tweety.
