I put a 56 f100 steering col. in a 29 AA it has TS built into the col. I turned the taper shank on AA steering wheel down and made a self cancelling cam and put it on under side of AA steering wheel, it works. So I got an indicator lite for the TS and tied it into the wire leading to the TS, it works when using the TS, problem is the lite stays on all the time as long as the key is on, I tried a 2 prong, no good, surely a 3 prong will work, I even tried switching wires around, any ideas how to keep lite off when key is on and TS not in use.
    thanks nick c

  2. Hook up your indicator light to the "P" terminal of the 3 prong flasher.
X= power in, L= load to switch, P=pilot light

or connect the light to both front turn light wires, but you have to use an insulated socket, no ground. This works with a 2 prong flasher.
