Event Coverage Turkey run question

I will be going for the first time, spectator only. What is the best one day to go and is there parking close ?? Thanks in advance.

If you are looking to buy parts, etc. it's best to go as early as possible. For hauling parts bring a little wagon.
Friday is less congested and a good day for locating parts.
Saturday is the busiest , most crowded day so get there early in the morning.
Vehicle prices start reducing late Sat. and Sunday am.
There's plenty of parking at the Speedway, but wear your walking shoes and leave Speedway around 3 pm to avoid traffic congestion.
Restaurants are really busy so you might want to eat a little earlier to avoid long lines.
Also, consider driving to DeLand or Ormand Beach for places to eat. It's not a long drive.
The weather is usually sunny and warm during the day. Bring a light jacket at night.
There are lots of police, so don't do anything stupid, like burn outs.
If you go to Bel Air Plaza there is parking behind the bowling alley where you can enter the parking lot.
